Busan's signature tree Festival returns to brighten winter with dazzling lights inspired by K-culture. The '2025 Gwangbok-ro Winter Lights Tree Festival' runs from 2025/12/5, beginning with this year's one-time highlight—a lighting ceremony with a countdown as Gwangbok-ro awakens in light—through 26/2/22. Throughout the Festival, a variety of street events will include busking by Busan musicians and participatory lighting ceremonies where residents can switch on the tree lights themselves. On the weekend of 12/20–21, Christmas cooking classes, mini-tree making, and other hands-on programs will also offer plenty to enjoy.
