Gangnam Media Winter Festa

As the year draws to a close and a new beginning approaches, the Trade Center area in Samseong-dong comes alive with spectacular media art and light displays. The 2025 Gangnam Media Winter Festa is a year-end and New Year festival featuring K-Christmas media art that reinterprets the warmth of Christmas through a Korean lens, along with New Year media art that cheerfully illuminates 2026, the Year of the Red Horse. Comprising two themed media art shows and four diverse hands-on programs, it offers visitors vivid visual immersion and a variety of participatory experiences. The Christmas themed show runs from 12.19 to 12.25, followed by the New Year themed show from 12.26 to 1.3. Their contrasting atmospheres will offer the special emotional experiences unique to the year-end and New Year season.

2. Hands-on Programs
- LUCKY QR: Scan a QR code to display a random good-luck message that brings visitors hope
- STAMP TOUR: A participatory program where visitors complete stamp art by visiting each program zone
- MEMORY WALL: Display messages of reflection and hope on an LED wall to look back on the year and share wishes for the new year
- VISUAL WALL: An interactive program where on-screen content changes in response to visitors' movements

3. Installations
- Eve's Christmas: A giant Christmas tree measuring 7.5 meters tall, installed in G20 Plaza
- Wonder Stage: A special LED art space that gives traditional Korean aesthetics a contemporary interpretation
- Wall of Hope: A wall-shaped LED experience space featuring various hands-on programs and media art
- Harmony of Light: A space to share messages of good fortune and offer hope amid sparkling lights
