Oncheoncheon Light Festival

The 3rd Oncheoncheon Light Festival will brighten winter in Dongnae-gu, Busan, for 45 days, from 2025. 12. 19. (Fri) to 2026. 2. 1. (Sun). Under the theme “Oncheoncheon Love Song,” a variety of light sculptures will be displayed along approximately 1.1 km of Oncheoncheon. The lights will be on daily from 17:00 to 23:00, offering visitors a special nighttime view. The festival is divided into six themed areas—“Prelude of Light,” “Song of the Seasons,” “Fantasy,” “Oncheoncheon Love Song,” “Delicious Harmony,” and “Song of Lanterns”—each offering distinctive sights inspired by traditional culture, seasonal themes, and the future. In addition to the light displays, a variety of activities will be available for residents to enjoy together. The opening lighting ceremony will be held at Oncheoncheon in front of Suan Elementary School at 17:00 on 12. 19. (Fri). Then, for 13 days through 12. 31. (Wed), a rich program of artificial snow experiences, busking performances, and media wish-writing will be held at the Snowflake Plaza beneath Dongnae Station Exit 4. A food truck zone will also operate around the Big Tree Rest Area, where visitors can enjoy a variety of food and add to the festival’s charm.
