The “2026 14th Yeonsu Neungheodae Culture Festival” is a cultural Festival of unity that carries on the historical legacy of Neungheodae, where ancient Baekje envoys set sail with a spirit of challenge and enterprise, and shares that spirit with today's Yeonsu-gu residents. Alongside the “Baekje Envoys Parade,” a signature event of Yeonsu-gu, the Festival offers various programs for residents to join. A rich array of associated events and hands-on booths, including a Residents' Day awards ceremony, celebratory performances by popular entertainers, and fireworks, offers the distinctive pleasures of the Neungheodae Festival. In particular, this year will feature its largest-ever drone light show, with around 2,000 drones illuminating the night sky. Under the theme “Neungheodae, a Voyage of Light,” cutting-edge media technology will reinterpret the history of maritime exchange through ancient Neungheodae and the meaning of a global voyage toward the world, creating a dazzling spectacle of light.
