Description

Paju Fair Book & Culture brings major publishers, authors, readers, and bookstores together to create a special space where books can be explored and enjoyed from new perspectives, rather than simply read. It presents citizens with a diverse range of cultural and artistic creations inspired by books, including performances, exhibitions, and hands-on activities, broadening the scope of reading culture. It also actively introduces outstanding K-Books and related content to overseas markets, expanding sales channels and serving as a global marketplace. The 2026 Paju Fair Book & Culture will run for approximately 10 days with a variety of programs. Performances include the opening ceremony, “BOOKS ALIVE!,” as well as an indie music festival, dance festival, and youth dance festival. The book market “Nan-Geotdeul,” with around 290 publishers and bookstores participating, is presented alongside its own program, “Nan-Jangpan,” and themed exhibitions, offering plenty to see. The youth program includes the Paju Brewery Concert, the listening session “Let's Give It a Listen First,” and “Booknic,” which offers picnic equipment rentals. A global publishing and IP business consultation event and an international forum will support overseas expansion and promote the growth of K-Books. A rich lineup of cultural networking programs, including talks and Flea Markets, will take place throughout the publishing city.
