Forest Fortress City - Namhansanseong Autumn Festa

The 2026 Fortress City in the Forest—Namhansanseong Autumn Festa is a hands-on program held throughout Namhansanseong, inviting the public to share in the value of this World Heritage site. Visitors can reflect on Namhansanseong's historical significance and beauty throughout the fortress, with a variety of activities, performances, and tours available. It comprises four programs: “Traditional Culture Experience,” exploring the fortress's history and traditions through hands-on activities; “Eco-History Camp,” learning about the fortress's ecology through guided commentary and natural-material activities; “Namhansanseong Performing Arts Festival,” adding excitement with theater and traditional Korean music performances; and “Chuseok Special Program,” filling Namhansanseong with light and music during the Chuseok holiday. Visitors can experience the value and appeal of the World Heritage site Namhansanseong up close.
