Koh Min-jeong's second solo exhibition, Points That Exist, invites viewers to focus more closely on the “dot,” the most fundamental element in her paintings. Inspired by old printed materials, the artist has created works by drawing dots one by one with a pen on paper or on an iPad screen. For this exhibition, alongside the original works, she presents enlarged versions of images that were originally drawn small, allowing viewers to experience the dots within them more closely. Though each of the countless dots in the images is small, each holds its place and, by existing, forms an image. That image can become a story in its own right, while several works together can form one larger story. This exhibition offers a look at Koh Min-jeong's work, which creates diverse narratives from simple visual elements.
