2026 Pohang Steel Art Festival (2026 PSAF)

Takma: Iron sharpens iron, potatoes sharpen potatoes. The theme draws on the idea that people renew one another through contact, just as iron polishes iron and potatoes rub away one another's skins. It reflects Pohang's identity as a city living with steel and aims to reveal the character of life in Pohang.

Ironclad Narrative Pohang is exhibited around Songdo Beach from October 24 to November 15. Public Photo Pohang runs at Dongbin Cultural Warehouse 1969 over the same period. Yeongilman Friends presents sculpture and photography at Art 436 and around Songdo Beach. Public Architecture Pohang, developed with Handong Global University's School of Spatial Environment System Engineering, takes place in the downtown shopping district. Steel Culture Planning Group programs—including a lab, citizen travel agency, academy, play space, citizen poetry, landscape project and seminar—run across Pohang from August 15 to November 15.
